Consulting and Collaboration

I offer training, consultation, and outreach designed to bridge gaps in mental health access, decolonize wellness and educational spaces, and empower communities through culturally grounded education and storytelling. My approach blends lived experience, public health expertise, and creative practice to spark reflection, connection, and systemic change.

If your organization is seeking meaningful training, expert consultation, or transformative workshops that center equity, mental wellness, and community care — I’d love to connect.

Workshops and Presentations

I collaborate with organizations to design and implement initiatives that increase awareness and access to support and education, particularly for under-served communities.

Whether it’s hosting panel discussions, leading community talks, or curating storytelling projects, my work is rooted in bridging the gap between research, lived experience, and real-world impact.  Sample list of speeches and workshops:

  • Healing Without Shame: Reframing BFRBs & Mental Health for People of Color
An engaging talk on Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs) and anxiety, focusing on culturally affirming approaches and the impact of racialized stress on coping mechanisms.
  • Decolonizing Mental Health: What It Means and Why It Matters
A dynamic, systems-level workshop exploring how race, power, and history shape our understanding of mental health — and how we can reclaim culturally rooted wellness.
  • Narrative as Medicine: Using Storytelling to Interrupt Shame and Build Community
Learn how storytelling can be a tool for health education, self-discovery, and healing from internalized oppression — especially in marginalized communities.
  • Grief Is Public Health: Reclaiming Ritual and Rest
This talk explores grief from a systemic and liberatory perspective — touching on disenfranchised loss, medicalized grief, and how people of color carry invisible burdens.
  • Understanding BFRBs Through a Racial Equity Lens
For educators, therapists, and mental health professionals who want to better support clients of color with BFRBs and anxiety-related coping.
  • Designing Brave Spaces: Culturally Responsive Mental Health Workshops That Work
A training for facilitators, educators, or program leaders who want to center marginalized voices, use arts-based methods, and design anti-oppressive wellness programming.
